Shilpa Kedia Joins Fractal as Chief Financial Officer
Brings two decades of financial leadership experience across global companies including Johnson & Johnson and Hindustan Unilever, spanning investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, treasury and business finance
NEW YORK | MUMBAI – October 19, 2026: Fractal Analytics Ltd. (BSE: 544700, NSE: FRACTAL), an enterprise AI company that builds its own AI models, platforms and products for Fortune 500® organizations, announced that Shilpa Kedia has joined as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. Shilpa will lead Fractal’s global finance organization, supporting profitable growth and disciplined capital allocation. Her priorities will include directing capital toward Fractal’s research, platforms and products, building a commercial model that prices for the value Fractal’s AI creates, and helping investors understand how the company’s financial strategy supports earnings growth.
Shilpa joins Fractal from Johnson & Johnson (J&J), where she served as Chief Financial Officer for its India Medical Devices & Technology (MedTech) business. Prior to this, she spent four years at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), holding leadership positions including Head of Investor Relations, Group Finance Controller, and Head of M&A, Treasury & Insurance. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade with J&J across its Consumer and MedTech businesses and five years with Nokia India, building a strong controllership foundation. She began her career with the Tata Administrative Services (TAS) leadership program at the Tata Group.
“Our AI strategy starts with the decisions that matter to a client’s business and builds the intelligence to improve them. Shilpa brings the perspective of someone who has made investment decisions and been accountable for the returns. She will help us strengthen the commercial model behind our strategy: where we invest in platforms and our products, how we price for the value we create, and how we turn that value into sustained earnings growth for Fractal. That combination of client understanding and financial discipline will be valuable as we build the next phase of Fractal,” said Srikanth Velamakanni, Co-founder and Group CEO, Fractal.
“Fractal combines deep AI research with a sharp understanding of the decisions its clients need to get right, and it builds its own models and products to improve them. Having spent two decades on the client side, I know what it takes for a business to commit to AI and hold it accountable for returns. My priority is to bring that same discipline to Fractal: investing behind our platforms and products, and giving investors a clear line of sight from that investment to durable, profitable growth,” said Shilpa Kedia, CFO, Fractal.
Shilpa is a Chartered Accountant with an all-India rank and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Narsee Monjee College.
