Machine Learning is used by email services like Gmail or Outlook to automatically detect and filter spam emails.  Some other examples of machine learning include, predicting house prices based on features like size, location, and number of rooms, segmenting customers into groups based on purchasing behavior, and training a robot to navigate a maze or teaching an AI to play chess.

AI is the broader concept of machines performing tasks intelligently, while ML is a specific approach to achieving AI by learning from data. 

Think of AI as the goal and ML as one of the tools used to reach that goal. 

For example, a customer service chatbot that answers queries is an AI application. If it improves its responses over time by learning from past interactions, it’s using ML.

Here are some more real-world applications:
