Abhishek Yadav

Abhishek (Abhi) Yadav is a part of the senior leadership team at Fractal. He heads the Retail and Distribution industry sector. He is responsible for client relations, strategy, and execution for the unit. Abhi is deeply passionate about technology and the positive impact it can have on our lives and society at large.

Prior to his current role, Abhi served in Senior Leadership roles at Wipro and HCL, where he was responsible for the digital transformation of the Retail business unit by building unique market capabilities and combining them with design and engineering talent at scale. He has also essayed leadership roles in multiple consumer industries like Logistics, Hospitality, and Distribution. He led and scaled the retail vertical by partnering and building strategic relationships with key US, Europe, and Asia clients.

With 20 years of global consulting experience, Abhi continues to be an evangelist on the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and analytical models in automating business processes and streamlining operations. Ajoy is the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer of He heads Fractal’s capabilities in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Cloud & Data Technology. He is also leading functional capabilities of Supply Chain, Financial Planning & Analysis, Integrated Marketing Effectiveness, and Digital & Web Analytics. Ajoy has been in analytics and AI roles for more than 20 years.

Before Fractal, Ajoy was the Country Credit Risk Head for the consumer portfolio of Barclays India. He was in a Leadership role in Consumer Credit Risk Management at Standard Chartered (Prime Financial), CitiFinancial, and GE Money. He is experienced in Risk Modelling & Analytics, Risk Policy & Portfolio Management, Collections Strategy, Underwriting & Fraud Control.

Ajoy received his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) at Calcutta and bachelor’s in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
