Deb had a US State Department Appointment to the Business Council of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). Deb was the first woman to serve as Chair of the 23 Country Business Council and advised top government officials including President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Deb currently has a Singapore Government Appointment to the Health & Bio-Medical International Advisory Council and a US appointment to Pacific Economic Cooperation Council a network of member committees promoting trade and cooperation across the Asia Pacific Region.
Deb serves as a Senior Advisor to Omni Bioceutical Innovations and a portfolio of tech start-up/scale-up companies including Fractal Analytics, Nuvo, and Innovaccer.
Deb gives of her time and talents to several learning and charitable institutions. She is currently Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at St. Bonaventure University and serves on the board of Trustees at Syracuse University. She was formerly on the Boards of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Xavier University.
Deb is a thought leader on topics including leadership, digital transformation, and diversity. Her work has appeared in top-tier publications including Fortune, Bloomberg, and Huffington Post. Deb authors a blog: Run2Digital. Deb partnered with academics from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business on groundbreaking research on women on corporate boards which was published in Harvard Business Review and MIT’s Sloan Management Review.
Deb is an advocate for the health & education of children. Under Deb’s leadership of P&G’s Live, Learn and Thrive Program, Asia delivered more than 325 million Liters of clean drinking water to Asia’s poverty ridden and disaster struck areas improving the lives of more than 100 million children in Asia. Deb’s efforts were recognized with the dedication of a Vietnamese School in her honor.
Deb has a BA in Mass Communications from St. Bonaventure University, an MA in Advertising from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications and an Honorary PhD of Humane Letters from St. Bonaventure. Deb is married to her husband, Sean, and is mom to three children: Caitlin, Connor, and Shannon.
